Description Andre Dierker 2020-04-03 17:35:01 UTC
SUMMARY
Ksysguard shows wrong CPU frequency from Ryzen 7 3700X

OBSERVED RESULT
Because Ksysguard reads the CPU speed from /proc/cpuinfo, the maximum frequency is always displayed. Wich makes this sensor useless. I'm not sure

If Ksysguard would read the frequency from /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu*/cpufreq/cpuinfo_cur_freq
it would display correct values, and at the same time the average values would be displayed as nice integers.

EXPECTED RESULT
Correct values for CPU frequencies

ksysguard is no longer maintained, in Plasma 6 there is the Plasma system monitor for this task.

If your issue still happens with the Plasma 6 replacement, please re-open and we can move this bug to the new product, thanks!
