The pop up that is displayed when the volume is changed should be less intrusive. It appears in the middle of the screen and is very large.

Changing the audio output also generates another pop up in the same place and of the same size.

To change these two settings more often, this is very disturbing, especially when watching a movie or series.

Why is it not displayed as a native plasma notification or as a smaller and more discreet pop up, like on the edge of the screen.

Plasma 5.19 includes an option to not show the volume status OSD at all, if that helps. But yeah, we've gotten various complaints about this and maybe we should look into tweaking it.
