SUMMARY
I installed a fresh copy of Kubuntu with all updates on my brand-new Thinkpad T495 (AMD). Generally, it seems to work good, but when I go into standby and turn on the laptop again on it starts and shows a black screen. There seems to be an error during wake up. It happens also sometimes when I boot. The boot process ends with a black screen. I have no chance to login. (I tested the laptop with Manjaro KDE. There this problem does not exists. So the hardware is fine.)

Meanwhile after some minor updates I confirm the problem:

a) Boot without power supply => black screen even before login dialog
b) Boot with power supply and then after login working normally, then after a standby => black screen.

I am using Kubutu 20.04. on Thinkpad T495 (AMD Ryzen 3500U CPU with Vega mobile Graphics).

I think this bug is on the wrong "product"
