Confirmed in KDE Neon with Plasma 5.21.1 This is disturbing as a user and useless. The position of the icon should not move. Are you able to reproduce the issue in Plasma 5.24? I haven't experienced this or seen any bug reports about it in a while. I'm on plasma 5.24.4 and I can't reproduce it, then looks solved with the latest versions? Great news, glad to hear it! |
Created attachment 126545 [details] bug reproduction I expect that when I place the icons on the panel, the position is respected even when I open the application. - Change the behavior of the task in icons only - Add some applications on the panel (Pin to the application manager) - Applications are now smelled: file manager, browser, etc ... If I open the file manager, it doesn't have to change position, because doing so changes the position of the others, and if I open more applications quickly, I risk opening APPs that I don't want to open. I attach a video to show the behavior: EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
