Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.12.2c to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging. It was necessary to install the package "libqt5multimedia5-plugins". It is necessary that this package is automatically installed along with other dependencies, otherwise you can lose a lot of time until find a solution to the problem. I think this is a bug.
