This issue persists on neon unstable based on ubuntu 20.04.
As we can see in the new attached screenshot, a update from KDE Store is available but update notifier falsely says that my system is updated.
Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2
@Dan it wasn't, the notifier needs a separate plugin that starts with the rest of the system and checks at startup. |

Updates for addons from KDE Store are available but "Updates" icon in systray is not overlapped by a blue dot that indicates available updates. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. install addons from KDE Store 2. wait a update to be released 3. EXPECTED RESULT notifier should notify about updates for addons from KDE Store.
