Are these applications using GTK3 for the menus? yes, I think they are using GTK3 Do you have a process 'gmenudbusmenuproxy' running? Check with Ctrl+Esc. yes, that process is running but gimp doesnt put its menu on the global menubar I found the solution: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=238072 Turns out I didn't have these packages installed, thus it wouldnt work This issue can be closed now :) Thanks for the update; changing status. |

STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open either Gparted, Firefox, or Inkscape 2. Notice that the app's menu is not displayed on the top menubar 3.
