Possibly related to this https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379822 This is an intentional change as the most important functionality either: 1) Is in the volume settings 2) Didn't work in most situations anyway "Device Priority" is not in my volume settings or anywhere in systemsettings. Setting Device Priority is working great for me, I can just no longer get to it in systemsettings. I currently have a dozen devices showing up in my "Audio Playback" and "Audio Recording" sections. We use Jabra USB speaker/microphones in our conference rooms so I am constantly adding/removing audio devices from my laptop. Setting the priorities makes this as simple as pluging the device in. Without priorities I have to go change my in/out devices every time I plug one in. |
