same issue with me Galaxy S9+ - latest phone OS updates. Even some of the smaller pictures come out corrupted. I can't even view them from my computer. If I select them on the phone and then "share" them through KDE Connect, they come out fine. KDEConnect app 1.13.2 KDEConnect-kde 1.3.5 Operating System: openSUSE Leap 15.1 KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.63.0 Qt Version: 5.13.1 Kernel Version: 4.12.14-lp151.28.25-default OS Type: 64-bit Same here with Galaxy S8+. I ran a binary diff with a file that I copied twice and the glitch happened once at position 0x8000 an once at position 0x10000. What is also noteworthy: the issue only happens when I initiate the copy from the KDE desktop. The problems does not appear when I initiate the copy from the smartphone. This is a very critical bug in my opinion because you will lose video files by moving them from the smartphone to the desktop. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 405847 *** |
