Description Jason Mangano 2019-10-06 08:34:42 UTC
SUMMARY: Using POP_OS! 19.04 Kernal 5.0.0-29 Generic

When drawing with the Cintiq 24 (4k touch active display) Krita works beautifully with full pressure and touch. When the digital wacom stylist 2.0 is flipped and the eraser end hits the digital panel to erase it works as expected. The problem comes after using the eraser, the pen is no longer able to be used. I tried changing brushes nothing works. The pen is still able to make eraser marks when flipped to the eraser end. (I hope this is clear)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Writing/drawing works every start of the program

2. flip the digital stylist to the eraser end and erasing works as expected

3. flip the digital stylist to the inking/drawing end and the pen no longer
   works :(

This software (KRITA) is being deployed via flatpack if that matters at all. :)

Could you check if the issue is that the brush is set to 0% opacity after flipping between pen tips? In which case that ties into this bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389022 (see the last few comments)
