Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.08.1b to see if there are any packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ If the problem/issue doesn't occur when using the AppImage, then it's your configuration or packaging. Update to the current distribution (even if you have the long term version). I'm also experiencing this issue. I've tried the kdenlive-19.08.2-x86_64.appimage release and both pressing 'V' or picking "Timeline > Insertion > Insert Clip Zone in Timeline" do not work. You need to define an active track (click on the track tag, eg. V1). The tag will become orange and then the insert operation will operate on that track. More details see here "3 point editing" https://kdenlive.org/en/2019/08/kdenlive-19-08-released/ Oooh, I see. Thanks! It must've changed in some more or less recent version, right? And my muscle memory habits suddenly didn't work :D (I've confirmed it's working correctly on my machine) Thank you for the feedback. Glad to hear it works. We close this bug. If it still appears in the latest version, please feel free to re-open it and update the affected version number. |
