This was fixed in a later version but could not be backported, sorry. I'm a bit of a linux newb; sorry. Yep! FWIW there have been two newer versions of Ubuntu since the one you're using that both include the fix, but the next LTS version (20.04) isn't scheduled to be released until April or May of next year. |

STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install KDE Plasma on Ubuntu. 2. Tweak the UI to look right. 3. Set Software Updater to Automatic. 4. Watch for a "New Updates" notification. OBSERVED RESULT: Discover will show an update needed for KDE-Story that is zero bytes in size. EXPECTED RESULT: Only needed updates appear, and once installed do not reappear.
