Yes, the playhead line get 1 frame thick on the end. But there is an issue about cutting point. See here: https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/318. Be aware that the cut is at frame level always. If you like to cut audio more precisely you have to do that in an audio software like audacity. The related issue has been closed so I guess this has been fixed to. Can you please test with the latest version (20.12.3 at the moment, https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and close this report if it is not relevant anymore?
