SUMMARY
When right-clicking on an album, do not show its contents, just open the context menu.

Use case: Often I browse albums that have many subalbums to find out how to name these subalbums in a consistent way. I want my album thumbnail view to stay, even when right-clicking on a subalbum to rename it, create a new one, or delete it.

I think it seems strange if the album content does not match my selected album name when the context menu opens. This is rather unusual behavior when I testing other programs. If we implement it, then probably only together with a shortcut key.

Exactly: Right clicking is not "selecting", and should not behave this way. It's basically the difference between asking e.g. for price and schedule (properties), and buying a ticket (walking through the entrance).

Many other apps (eg. KDE Dolphin) behave the same. Right-clicking (and context menu selection) does not "activate" an entry, it just shows the properties.
