I'm sorry, but I don't see this happening? What tablet are you using, and have you changed anything in the configuration for your tablet? I use the DECO 3 and Artist 15.6PRO. These two units have not given me issues before. No config was altered on either the devices their drivers or within Krita. But this behaviour exists on any pointer device used to drag and drop layers in a new order. (mouses, both wireless and wired as well) The behaviour is also limited to that docker and the aforementioned settings. I've gone into other programs that use layers (Illustrator and Photoshop) they behave as intended. Left click and hold drags a layer, letting go drops it to desired location. I've noticed that the action does work with the RIGHT click. But swapping left for right click (In Windows) changes left and right system wide. Did a bit of testing: I installed 4.2.3, 4.2.2, 4.2.1, 4.2.0 and 4.1.7 Only 4.1.7 worked as intended: left click+hold to drag. Release to drop layer to new spot in layers docker. Everything 4.2.0 and beyond has the weird dragging animation within the layers Docker, but does not actually result in dragging a layer. So I can safely conclude that if the setting wasn't in 4.1.7 I did not change it on accident either. I also did not find Krita misbehaving otherwise. Could this be an intentional change that's simply not discussed publicly? (I haven't found other people with this issue yet) No, that sounds like it's the d&d regression in Qt 5.12 :-( *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 407205 *** |
