You can just bring videos to the timeline. Either with the mouse via drag/drop from the ClipMonitor or directly from the ProjectBin: See here: https://kdenlive.org/en/2019/04/kdenlive-19-04-released/ under Monitor " Shortcut icon in clip monitor to drag only the audio or only the video of a clip in timeline." and under Project Bin, " Shortcut icon to drag only the audio or only the video of a clip in timeline.". From 19.04 on everything goes with keyboard shortcuts as well. Select a video or audio track (up/down arrow key) and set as target (the green vertical lines on the track head) on/off (shift + t) and active (a, V1 turns yellow). If the audio track is turned off as the target (no green line): use v or b to insert only the video on the selected track. shortcut t switches between Timeline and ClipMonitor. How to drag only video or only audio from Project Bin I figured out. Icons for drag and drop are small, but generally convenient. |
