Setting to adjust checking for updates frequency is needed, also an option to disable automatic checking for updates would be nice
Comment 1 Pawel 2020-03-12 21:24:25 UTC
apologies if this isn't the right way to do it, but, as a new KDE user, I would also like to express my interest in this feature.

Thank you

Me too. It would be nice if the option allows you to configure both the frequency (daily, weekly, etc.) and the time of day it runs.

I've tried software-properties-kde, but it only allows you to configure system updates, not snaps or flatpaks.

Thank you.

Any progress?
Comment 4 Marcel 2021-02-01 13:23:50 UTC
I would like to add to the already made suggestions the ability to chose to disable or change frequency of checking for updates depending on package type.

For example disable checking for updates for system packages (e.g.:.deb, .rpm, ...) but keep or set an other frequency for flatpaks, snaps or fwupd packages.

I also agree that Discover needs this option. I was going to suggest this feature!
