I made an additional trial (with a rw disc): this time the progress indicator blocked in between.

Created attachment 119457 [details] debug report SUMMARY Burning from an iso image, everything went ok up to showing the progress window. Here, the upper window indicated the start of writing, but in the lower part the progress indicators remained at zero. I was thinking that the process was hung, when a pop-up briefly appeared enunciating that the image had been burnt, then a brief pop that no medium was found, and immediately after that the image hsd been checked successfully (I had checked for that option). Browsing the content, it looks ok, but being a bootable dvd (supergrub2) I didn't test it yet. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: testing Debug output attached
