SUMMARY

Lost of icons / replaced by text 

OBSERVED RESULT
i've lost icons and these were replaced by text .
can you please advise about how to restore icons and maybe initiale configuration of KDEnlive ?

Go to settings and tick: “Force Breeze Icon theme”. Kdenlive restart and you should see the icons. 

If the Icons are still missing or just partly installed than the libxcb-keysyms1 is missing. Type in a terminal (press CTRL + ALT + T): "sudo apt-get update", "sudo apt-get install libxcb-keysyms1".
