it would open up huge perspectives if it becomes editable...

then we'll be able to add:

"GO to project start / end"...
also "GO to zone start / zone end"

to start with... :)

even on an average screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio there's plenty of room 
below the project monitor...
and if some items of the "monitor" menu could be placed there, it would be invaluable :)

Maybe we could do it like in Premiere. Add a dot menu that the user can choose additional buttons instead of already shown ones. https://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/buttons-playback-premiere-pro/

https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kxmlgui/-/merge_requests/90 opened the door to implement this in the future. However we need to wait until we require KF >= 5.91.0
