Thank you for your report! I was able to confirm this issue as well but I believe it's an upstream issue. I've used different applications that use the same "Save File" dialog and the issue is still present in those applications. I can't reproduce with gwenview 19.04. After the step 4, the file name is unselected, not cleared. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.57.0 Qt Version: 5.12.3 I can still see this bug happening, it's even easier to reproduce: STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Navigate to a folder with an image 2. Hit F7 to copy that image, select another directory than the current one. OBSERVED RESULT The 'Name' field in the dialog box is reset. The file name has to by typed entirely again. EXPECTED RESULT The 'Name' field is unmodified when switching directories. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.71.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Gwenview 25.08.0 (the latest released version)? |
