As of Akregator 5.16.3 (20.12.3) this behaviour is still present but it's not a problem with Akregator, it happens in other apps to that you can't assign KeyPadEnter as a shortcut. I tried e.g. in Konsole and when I press KPEnter it adds it to the shortcut as if it was a modifier. What's more, if I keep pressing KPEnter eventually the app crashes.
