On setting falkon:start as new tab page, the falkon:start page loads up by default which itself has a search bar and that is in focus so you can directly write your query there. The page acts just like any other search engine page where on opening that page the search field is in focus. As such why do you want the address bar to be in focus? The bug I'm reporting is that the search bar is NOT in focus when opening the new tab, nor the address bar. Sorry for not making that clear enough. Alyx, can you please retest on Falkon 3.1.0. I have just tested and opened a tab with falkon:start and the search bar was ready to be typed in. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
