also present on okular 1.7.70 flatpak (I guess it has always been this way. I think it's terrible behaviour - many people don't sign with 1 stroke) You have to select "freehand line" by *double*-clicking. If you do that it stays selected permanently. I agree that UI-wise this is less than optimal. Anyone for replacing double clicks by single clicks here? I think that's a separate issue.
