is flatpak backend installed on your system? does 'flatpak update' command find some update? I presume flatpak is installed. At least Discover lists "Flathub - dl.flathub.org" in the Sources panel. "flatpak update" listed two, which I then installed: --- Looking for updates... Installing in system: org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.nvidia-390-116/x86_64/1.4 flathub ad2b4a7552f8 Updating in system: org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.nvidia-390-77/x86_64/1.4 flathub 9a8ad807baa4 --- The systray icon subsequently disappeared. I presume the package count was thus corrected. Would it be possible to implement some hint, or autotrigger such extra updates? When the Discover window is opened, there are no updates available. System restart does not purge the false reporting. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. 2. 3.
