Description andrea romano 2019-02-15 01:18:40 UTC
Hello,

I do not work anymore the functions "filter", I tried to uninstall and reinstall different versions of Krita, but the problem is always the same: everything concerning the filters, do not work, if I try to click for example on Color Balance , the window does not appear, blocking all the functions.

The system requirements of my computer are:

Windows 10 pro; intel core i5; ram 8gb; 64 bit x64 operating system

Hi Andrea, check that you don't have any third-party "security" software installed that might interfere with Krita, like sandboxie.

Hi,

I did it, I disabled Malware Byte and Avast ... Nothing! Unfortunately the
problem persists. I think I will be able to format the pc.

First try to run Krita as administrator, and see whether that makes a difference.

Thanks for your comment!

Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team
knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed.

In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information.

Um... That's seldom a good idea. But in that case, create a new user account, and check whether that user has the same problem as well. Or you could try to reset Krita's settings (https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration) -- but that's a very long shot because there's absolutely nothing in Krita itself that could cause this behaviour. It must be something to do with your system.

Great! I had to do was rename the file Kritarc and reinstall Krita. Now
everything works as before. Thank you very much!!!

Then I'm completely puzzled as to what might've happened... Could you attach the original kritarc file to the bug?
Comment 10 wolthera 2019-03-06 09:30:08 UTC
I guess we're not getting the old kritarc, I'll close this...
