You need to restart plasma after uncheck "Configure keyboard options", so switching the keyboard layout will not turn on the keyboard led. I think plasma should apply the change immediately or show a warning saying that restart plasma could be necessary to apply the change like other KCMs already do. Nope. I have many times reboot my system and when I go to this options - all was off. This behavior is confusing. It seems to me that "Configure keyboard options" check must be enabled if under that has some enables options. |
