In the process of working on this, I discovered that the enter and return keys already do this! Adding Tab to the mix would be nice too, I think. When Places panel is focused, the Tab key doesn't work either. Pressing Enter won't help if you are currently viewing the Home folder and trying to press Enter on Home folder in Places. *** Bug 407214 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** (In reply to Alexander Potashev from comment #2) > When Places panel is focused, the Tab key doesn't work either.
