A message box pops up when an error occurs.
When e.g. kmail checks peridoically for new mails an the mail server is down for a while the message box appears very often.

I whish to be able to configure whether the error message is shown in the message box or
(which is the feature which has to be implemented) shown in kmail's status bar.

These error messages annoy when using offline laptop. I have to exit kontact to disable periodical error messages "Host not found".
