In system settings in Displays configuration there is an identify button. But it is still not such a convinient way of identification, because you need to read display name, remember it and then compare it to names of displays that are shown in the configuration area.

I would like notification like in mac os. When you hold a mouse on a display in the configuration area, it becomes surrounded with red frame and also a red frame appears on entire display. And also in mac os display configuration there is a white bar, identifying main output. And we could also repeat this.
