I found a solution: Preferences > General > Preferred email format > HTML.

Created attachment 115258 [details] Mobile client email SUMMARY The changes table part of the changed status emails is not very readable given that most email clients do not use monospaced fonts. This results in all the fields misaligned. The general structure of the email may benefit from some rework to increase the readability. See attachment of email on a mobile client
