Same thing here with kdenlive 18.08.2. To reproduce you need to check "Use KDE job tracking for render jobs" option in kdenlive settings, misc section. Also click on the down arrow that appears in the screenshot of notifications applet to show details. I don’t have this „down arrow“ on my render window. Neither on Linux nor on Windows.

As it has been a while since this was reported, can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved.
