KStars crashes with ZWO ASI120MC-S

I reported already this bug for KStars v.2.8.2 (Bug 384171).
It has been fixed up to v.2.9.6 but then reappeared in v.2.9.7 and v.2.9.8.

My ZWO ASI120MC-S camera crashes KStars when used in the Imager, the Focuser, the Plate Solver and the Guider panels.
KStars doesn't crash when my ZWO ASI1600MC camera is used instead of ZWO ASI120MC-S camera.

I wish to bring some additional detail to help solving the problem.
In the log (see previous attachment 114998 [details]) the last two lines are before KStars v.2.9.8 crashes:

If I used a version of KStars which doesn't crash like v.2.9.6 here are the last lines:

Looks like it's crashing while loading FITS. Can you post a link to an image captured from this camera?

A number of dysfunctions are linked to this ASI120MC-S camera running on macOS and ZWO admitted it :

“Full resolution function of the ASI120 requires full 480mbs USB communication!
Mac OSX may not compatible well. Neither Windows though virtual machine. Windows though Bootcamp is recommended. Or use our ASI120S USB3.0 Cameras which runs well under Mac OSX.”

Since I discarded this camera and replaced it by a ZWO ASI174MM everything is working perfectly
