Description Viktor Epifanov 2018-09-15 20:40:42 UTC
After installing on Android app doesn't request storage permission. This may lead to confusion when trying to send files from desktop to mobile and they will not appear on the mobile device.

Steps to reproduce:
1) Download and install KDE Connect app on mobile device.
2) Pair the device with your desktop.
3) Try to send some file from desktop to mobile device.

Actual results:
File is missing, no error messages on Android or desktop;

Expected results:
Transferred file or some kind of error message, prompting to allow storage permission for KDE Connect app.

It works for me. You need to tap on the list items to get prompted about the permissions

Is this related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364571 and https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380022 ?

I don't see any permissions prompts on my phone as shown in Nicolas Fella's screenshot, but am unable to browse phone files from computer.
