1. If you perform the updates via terminal, that's gonna confuse Discover for sure. Not recommended. 2. Are you talking about the actual Discover app itself, or the little notifier window in your system tray? hi, #2 - neither app or notifier will perform update correctly. I have at present uninstalled Discover and instead using 'Software Updater' and 'Software' apps to perform updates, although I'm not receiving notifications of available updates with those, I have Updater set to check availability every day and notify me.
