It is already possible to dock the toolbox in a separate column in the dock area. It's a bit fiddly to get there, but that's not something we can influence; it's part of the toolkit.
yes, i saw what you mean. Actually, it is very easy to add this kind of column on Mac. as I understand you, it is not possible to add a column outside/aside of the dock, (as shown in my screenshot) because of the toolkit. I checked out your screenshot, that is what I want too!!! XD not sure if my platform (mac) does not allow the arrangement i want… I tried hard to arrange tools as seen in your screenshot. my dock is subdivided into 3 areas. I am able to add columns to one of each area only… else Krita suggests me to add tools in the top toolbar section i rebuild my dock, starting from 1 dock area, adding the slim toolbar column, then adding another section at the very bottom, and yet another section on the bottom works for me too! great |
Created attachment 114488 [details] Example how tools should be dockable to the dock Having the tools in the toolbar looks clear but if like to be able to arrange my toolbar items docked aside the docker. Please see screenshot. Of course, the my tools aren't docked but floating right now.
