Description cadenr2004 2018-08-14 17:43:05 UTC
Hello,

I have noticed that when a hot corner is active, closing the lid of my laptop suspends it, but does not lock like it usually does. When I re-open the laptop, I am sent straight back to the desktop without a password prompt. This is a security flaw. This happens every time when I use the "Desktop grid" and "Present Windows - Current Desktop" hot corners.

Can you confirm version numbers (see kinfocenter) and if it's X or wayland.

Testing these instructions (on wayland) worked fine for me.

I'd guess it's the same as the context menu bug, I bet we do a mouse grab, at which point kscreenlocker can't. If so that's not very fixable.

I'm running 5.13.4 on X.
