Does the issue disappear if you resize the window at all in any direction? Looks it could be an issue in the QStyle plugin you are using. Can you give a try with Breeze or one of the default ones? If so, look into reporting there. If you can provide the information requested in comment #1 and/or comment #2, please add it. This was caused by Bug 395455, which has since been fixed. Further improvements were made in Bug 396877. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 395455 *** |
Created attachment 113694 [details] Update activity missing update button, garbled text in upper right corner. See screenshot. The "Update" or "Update All" button is missing from the update activity and there is some non-clickable mangled text in the upper right corner. This problem persists using a variety of themes and application style settings, and does not change whether the window is maximized or floating. I saw a previous bug report where this problem occurred only when more than one update was selected, but it doesn't seem to make any difference in my case. I only tag this as a "major" bug because it completely prevents me from installing any updates through Discover. I haven't done it yet, but I expect the only workaround will be to uninstall and then reinstall to get the updated packages.
