Dolphin window, showing layout bug
Same problems found. dolphin-17.12.2-2.fc27.x86_64
Panel areas on either side of main window remain, after panel items deselected, and this is repeated on all new Dolphin windows opened..
Screenshot included.

This is probably bug in qt5 5.9.6. I installed version 5.9.4 (from koji) and the problem is resolved. This bug maybe, https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-68939 Thanks for the link; changing status. No comment on Fedora Q&A ... I have applied the patch at https://codereview.qt-project.org/#/c/233482/ to qt5-qtbase-5.9.6-1.fc27.x86_64 and can confirm that this fixes the problem, and Dolphin now displays correctly. The problem does not occur with a later version - qt5-qtbase-5.10.1-6.fc28.x86_64. RG. *** Bug 397306 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
