Please ask in a forum of your distribution how to install and setup kwallet-pam. Ok it's fixed now. What happened was that I was using Plasma as desktop manager, but gdm3 as session manager, with autologin enabled, and for some reason in kde system settings it didn't appear autologin ticked. So I switched from gdm3 to sddm and now I'm required to login to Plasma session and KDE wallet works as expected. should I report another bug regarding the Plasma behaviour not detecting gdm3 autologin settings? *** Bug 410898 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Thanks to Arch Linux wiki for letting me know that: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/KDE_Wallet |
