Neither is better. We lack the information what makes a good default. Aligning to one randomly picked default doesn't make sense. (In reply to Martin Flöser from comment #1) > Neither is better. It's not about aligning to one randomly picked other effect, but about aligning with all the rest of the effects. You'll very likely feel that effects such as opening the application launcher, launching 'present windows', switching virtual desktops, etc. all feel like they happen at pretty much the same velocity, while glide is a lot slower compared to all others. You'll also find that effects comparable to glide in other desktop environments have much shorter animations. |
