Where did you get krita from? And what file did you download exactly? If you use the installer, Windows Defender doesn't see Krita "as a thread" because the installer is signed, but 3rd party security software might. In any case, this isn't a bug in Krita: it must be some setup issue on your system. A bug is a problem in Krita's code that we can fix. Krita

A bug is a problem in Krita's code that we can fix. I downloaded Krita from the .org site. I don't have a third party security software. I just installed 4.0.1 and Windows 10 still didn't like the signature so I had to make an exception again. The file is krita-x64-4.0.1-setup Thanks Windows 10 update cause the issue which is now resolved. Thanks for the heads up and a great program, sorry for bothering you, I am a digital artist not a computer guru. Keep up the great work. Thanks Thanks for letting us know! |
Created attachment 112128 [details] Krita not allowing export. At first Windows 10 saw Krita as a threat and wouldn't allow saving to the Pictures folder. I allowed an exception for the Krita folder. I then tried to save, save as and export my work but still unable. see attached.
