Currently requires dropping to a CLI to perform via commands instead of GUI(unless using another file manager as Dolphin is forbidden to run as root).

I would like to be able to easily adjust a file(s) owner or group via Dolphin context menu "Properties -> Permissions Tab". In addition to that, prompting when required for admin authorization instead of requiring Dolphin as root to adjust root owner to the session user.

KAuth/KIO/PolKit support for supporting other actions that require root priviledges has been WIP for some time and currently a high priority item. When this is complete, I think adding support for other features requiring root as the session user can be more easily implemented?

Don't seem to be able to edit my original message. If it was not clear by the title, this also was about the read/write/modify and executable properties under the permissions tab which also cannot presently be adjusted for root owned files.
