Well, from my experience with Dolphin I came to conclusion that current search bar is unreliable.
With solid state drives being standard it doesn't take long to find something even without a file index.

My proposal is to implement KFind as an alternative to Baloo. Preferably available from dolphin settings.

It's not a duplicate, this person wants to open kfind instance by clicking icon on toolbar. What I am proposing is an option to replace baloo with kfind.
