After reboot is compositing enabled or disabled? Disabled. The cursor animation is only available with enabled OpenGL compositor. I understand, the animation may not work, but KWin could just change the cursor like every other window manager does. Then please use any of the other window managers which do that. I wasn't trying to be mean, I'm just doing my duty as a user and a fan of KDE. Launch feedback should work regardless of compositing, because it doesn't need it, since every cursor theme has a busy cursor already. You don't need to be rude, I just want to help. There won't be a non composited launch feedback. This doesn't make any sense any more from a development perspective. Please do not reopen again. |
