Neither do I have any idea of the cause. It's good that you've added the system info, but in this case it doesn't tell us anything. Yet it obviously is something specific to your system, because hundreds of thousands of people do not have this problem. You can try two things: a) reset Krita's settings (https://docs.krita.org/KritaFAQ#Resetting_Krita_configuration) b) create a crash log (https://docs.krita.org/Dr._Mingw_debugger) Also check whether you've got any "security" software installed other than what comes with windows. Hi Boudewijn, I have performance log turned on. I have looked in LocalAppData but I only see a folder called "CrashDumps". I do not know where to find my Krita performance log, could you help? Performance logging is *not* related to the crash log. Please follow the instructions in https://docs.krita.org/Dr._Mingw_debugger to get the crash log, and ignore the performance logging.
