It doesn't have to be limited to text files but yeah a shortcut for this should exist! Marking as a wish, it should theoretically not be too hard to implement if you can find out where the action is defined. *** Bug 399812 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** and make it executable right away, so it lends itself to be a python script. Phabricator: Add a keyboard shortcut to create file - https://phabricator.kde.org/D16413 "Like the existing F10 shortcut to create directories, this patch adds a new shortcut to create files. The proposed default is Shift-F10." Je vais essayer de le résoudre *** Bug 393143 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Any progress on this, I just built dolphin with the linked phabricator patch from #Comment 5 and works as it should, given I have set my own shortcut to F12, not a big deal, but I prefer one key instead of two :-) Is there anything holding it back, apart from the proposal from Nate? Cant it land as is and add "fine tuning" as arrives? This is essentially the same request as bug 462899, which has a more recent patch. I'm marking this as a duplicate of the other report. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 462899 *** |
