my dikikam stores all data in a mysql database on my database server, and when I look there all the information about the files in my collections is actually there. it just does not show in the application. Do you use Qt-5.9.3? Maik yes This problem is already fixed, look in the duplicate bug entry. Maik *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 387373 *** In all case, you can use the last pre-release 5.8.0 AppImage bundle for Linux available here : https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Gilles Caulier ...what exactly is an "appimage bundle" and how do i use that on openSUSE? AppImage is a binary bundle that you can run as well without to install anything. All is included inside. The contents is just decompressed in memory. It's explained here : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AppImage Just download it somewhere in your home directory, turn on the file executable property, and just start it. digiKam will appear on screen. It's fully compatible with your data, managed with your system based digiKam. Gilles Caulier Not reproducible with 6.0.0 |
