The location bar, which can be found above Dolphin's view, displays the path to the current folder, when this is in "Editable Mode" you can drag the folder icon to the "Places Panel" to achieve what you require. What about: right-click on the view -> Add to places? Victor, does comment #2 help to resolve your issue? Christoph Feck, yes. But there should be a toolbar button or something to find this more easily. We already have drag-and-drop and a context menu item.
