Description LaserMoai 2017-09-30 14:08:30 UTC
Formats like NSF, SPC and GBS are supported by numerous players including even Rockbox.
Comment 1 Nate Graham 2017-10-01 04:39:56 UTC
This would be a request for the media player frameworks themselves: Phonon or GStreamer. Probably GStreamer would be the best place to request this.
Comment 2 LaserMoai 2017-10-03 07:56:48 UTC
There's already a gmedec GStreamer plugin for them though.
Comment 3 Christoph Feck 2017-10-04 22:00:40 UTC
Changing status until some developer confirms whether Amarok has an internal list of supported file formats, or requests them from underlying components (at least the FFmpeg library supports game formats).

> Phonon or GStreamer

Feature requests for Phonon would be tracked at this bug tracker.
Comment 4 Myriam Schweingruber 2017-10-07 13:07:29 UTC
Formats are entirely dependent on external libraries, be this Phonon, Gstreamer, VLC or taglib
